  2. Four identical passport-sized photos (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) with white background, taken within the last three months, and meeting the specifications outlined in the source data
  3. Original and photocopy of a valid ID containing your clear picture, date of birth, signature, and the authorized head’s signature of the issuing agency

Navigating the Process

Follow these steps to apply for the Civil Service Exam:

  1. Download the application form (CS Form No. 100 Revised September 2016) from the CSC website (www.csc.gov.ph) or obtain it from a CSC Regional or Field Office.
  2. Complete the form without signing or affixing your thumbprint, which will be done in the presence of an Action Officer at the CSC office.
  3. Submit the accomplished form and required documents to a CSC Regional or Field Office, where an Action Officer will review and evaluate your application.
  4. Sign and affix your thumbprint on the form in the presence of the Action Officer.
  5. Pay the examination fee (P500.00) at the cashier, and receive an Official Receipt (OR).
  6. Present your OR with the processed application form to the Action Officer, who will provide you with an examination receipt slip and an Examinee Guide.
